Are my details safe and confidential?
Mag Nation treats your personal details with the utmost security and follows strict privacy guidelines. We will never sell or rent your details or disclose any of your personal information, except for the purpose of fulfilling your subscription.
Can orders be placed over the telephone?
Yes, orders can be placed over the telephone. Please feel free to call us on 09 3766933 between 10:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Sunday, except public holidays.
How will you acknowledge my subscription order?
You will receive an email notifying you that your order has been received. This email will be sent to you immediately after your order has been placed. It will note the details of your purchase, the billing name and address, and the delivery name and address.
In what ways can I pay for my subscriptions?
1. You can pay by credit when you check out.
2. You can also call Mag Nation any time between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm on 09 3766933 between Monday to Sunday, except public holidays.
3. You can come into the Mag Nation store at 63 Ponsonby Road, Ponsonby, Auckland any time between Monday to Sunday between 10:00 am to 5:00 pm (except public holidays).
Please note that prices quoted on the website are for deliveries to New Zealand addresses only. For overseas delivery, please call the store on 09 3766933 to inquire about additional charges to a particular destination.
Can I opt to transfer my subscription to a different magazine?
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide this option as Mag Nation gets locked in with the subscription with the publisher of the title.
How do I change my address or contact details?
Simply contact us at info@magnation.co.nz with your order no. and we will amend the details. Please note that any copies despatched 7 days prior to you contacting us may still go to the previous address.
How long do I have to wait for my first issue to arrive?
For New Zealand and Australian publications, the Industry Standard Delivery Schedules are:
- For weekly publications please allow up to two to four weeks for your first delivery.
- For monthly publications please allow up to six weeks for your first delivery.
- For bi-monthly publications please allow up to six to eight weeks for your first delivery.
For international magazines that are published weekly, fortnightly and monthly, you should generally allow 8 - 10 weeks for your subscription to start. All subscription cycles commence with the next available issue
How long do I have to wait for my first issue to arrive?
If your magazine hasn't arrived or you think it may be running late, please contact Mag Nation at info@magnation.co.nz with your order details.
Can I specify which issue the subscription will start with?
Your subscription will usually start with the next available issue. If you require the subscription to commence with a specific issue, please mention it in the Note section.
Where are the magazines dispatched from?
The magazines are dispatched from our physical location at 63 Ponsonby Rd, Ponsonby, Auckland 1011.
Are international orders available through Mag Nation?
Mag Nation offers international delivery for most of the titles listed on its website. For international delivery, please call the store on 09 3766933 to inquire about additional charges to a particular destination.
Can I cancel my subscription/s?
A subscription(s) can only be cancelled within 48 hours of placing the order. No refunds can be made for a cancellation 48 hours after the initial order.
Does the price of the subscription include delivery?
Yes. All pricing on the Mag Nation website is inclusive of GST and delivery within mainland New Zealand.
Do you supply school libraries and school art departments?
Yes, we most certainly do. Institutional buyers have been a core part of our business for many years and we offer tailor made packages to suit your requirements. In addition, as New Zealand’s only magazine specialist, Mag Nation draws upon its extensive expertise to offer suggestions about unique, interesting and ground breaking publications that will serve as valuable reference material.
Do you offer back issues of magazines?
We are often approached for back issues but it is not feasible to hold copies of hundreds of publications. To address this need, we have added a Mag Trader section to the website where people can buy and sell back issues. This is a free community initiative by Mag Nation where people can trade back issues. To know more, please visit the Mag Trader section
If I can't find the magazine I'm looking for, what do I do?
If you can't find the magazine you are looking for, it may mean that we have not listed it on the website though it may be available in our physical store. Please contact us at info@magnation.co.nz and we will make every endeavour to source it for you.
Is it safe to purchase online?
Yes most definitely, all information you provide is encrypted using the latest Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, ensuring your credit card details are safe, sound and secure.
Can I give a subscription as a gift?
Yes, subscriptions make great gifts. You can choose a different delivery address on the checkout page for each magazine
Can I order back issues of a particular magazine?
Mag Nation does not stock any copies of the magazines. For back issue enquiries, please contact the specific magazine publisher directly. Alternatively, you can register your interest for a back issue on the Mag Trader section of our website. This is a FREE community initiative by Mag Nation.
